Pets are smarter than we think

My little pups name is Rocky and he is 3 years old. He is so attached to me. So I have a funny little story that happened that I would love to share with you all.

One Christmas eve day (very important for us Italians) I was running around helping my family getting everything prepared for the evening.  It was a very busy all day so Rocky didn’t get the typical exercise and attention he normally got. Anyway, my friends and family had a nice fun evening together and everyone left around 1 am.
When I went into my bedroom I found the zippers on my purse had been opened (I always close them) and every single item had been removed – my wallet, pens, papers, hairbrush, hand sanitizer, lip gloss and few other items. It looked like each item had been strategically placed on the floor around the bed. Some credit cards had even been taken out of my wallet and spread around. There was not a tooth mark on anything!!
Rocky followed me around and simply stared at me while I picked everything up. It was done so neatly I though maybe one of my friends or family members had snuck into the bedroom to play a joke on me. I even called to ask them- but it was my sweet innocent looking Rocky that did the job! I guess it was his way of letting me know he wanted attention. He has done it a couple times since then too. Prior to that I thought he wasn’t the “sharpest knife in the drawer”, if you know what I mean. He sure showed me!

Moral of this story…Your family pet is a lot smarter than you think…CAREFUL!!
