<\/a><\/p>\n\u00a0I\u2019m Gilbert, the Tabby, and my sisterfur tortie is Bella.<\/p>\n
Our mom was killed by a wild dog along with my other brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n A nice lady rescued us and gave us away in front of a supermarket.<\/p>\n We needed and missed mom but our hooman mom did a good job bottle feeding us till we got healthy and strong.<\/p>\n One extremely hot summer night mom went out for something she calls iced coffee.<\/p>\n There, in the parking lot she found Fluffy.<\/p>\n She was skin and bones.<\/p>\n She had been left abandoned with no way to fend for herself since she had been declawed.<\/p>\n She was at the brink of death with her little bones protruding from her skin.<\/p>\n We took her in and nursed her back to health.<\/p>\n Fluffy\u2019s resilience and will to live made mom want to do something for neglected and abused animals.<\/p>\n She joined something called the ASPCA and ran her first half marathon in Los Angeles, CA to raise awareness to a cause very dear to us.<\/p>\n Here she is dressed as a cat as she crossed the finish line.<\/p>\n Crossing finish line<\/p><\/div>\n She\u2019s so silly!<\/p>\n Mom found Fluffy and great furever home where she saved the life of a lady who\u2019s husband was dying of cancer.<\/p>\n Fluffy made his last days so happy.<\/p>\n Mom knew she had a purpose in life, as we all do.<\/p>\n When he passed away, Fluffy\u2019s new mom said she would have never made it without her.<\/p>\n Fluffy gave the lady a will and reason to live.<\/p>\n Something to look forward to every day.<\/p>\n Not shortly after Fluffy found her new home Lucy came into our lives.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>
