Bob Barker had said it for years on his show, "Reminding you to control the pet population, don't forget to spay & neuter your pets". Very good advice from a very wise man.

The facts are simple, without controlling the pet population, animals will not have enough homes, and therefore will be euthanized, such a shame! Save lives by having your dog and cat spayed and neutered. There are many programs from local
shelters that give a discount on spaying & neutering. It's the right thing to do, because your saving many precious lives!

For example, adopting Miracle cost us $189.00, but she had all her shots, dewormed, microchipped, and SPAYED! If I were to have that done at an Animal Hospital, the cost would have been much more.
When I adopted Lakota, our local shelter had a program and I received a portion of reimbursement for having her spayed.

My girls are featured in this magazine, it was done by a friend! Miracle on the left, Lakota on the right.
My girls are both spayed, and I'd have it no other way. Please have your dog or cat spayed or neutered, and save lives, it's a great feeling and well worth it!

Look closely at this photo, not put here to make you cringe, but to make you really think.

The Key here is to CONTROL THE PET POPULATION! All of us that own pets, have the ultimate responsibility of controlling the pet population. Please, save lives and Spay & Neuter your pets!

Well done Miracle and Lakotas mummy! Here to in Canada to there are programs for those who can't afford there pets to be neutered . By doing thus then there won't be so many abanded animals! Thanks to Bob Baker who did and is still spreading the word!!

Thank you so much Rocky's mum! Yes, animal overpopulation is sad, because so many animals are born, and then never wanted, and the ultimate demise is being euthanized. So many lives, and not enough homes for them. Please, do right by your animals and have your pets spayed and neutered! You'll be saving many lives!

I am Tinkie Weed's Momstaff and I used to watch The Price is Right with Bob Barker all the time. Now that Bob retired, I no longer watch it. Why? Because only Bob reminded everyone to spay and neuter their pets. This is a very important message and with the huge audience that Bob Barker had, he did a great job getting the message across. I miss him and those fabulous words only he could say. Like Tinkie

Well said Rae. It breaks my heart that animals are brought into this world and have be euthanized because they have no home to go to. People please spay/neuter your pets. Many shelters have programs where they will spay/neuter, microchip and give vaccinations to the animals that are brought in.

thank you so much for writing this article. It is of great importance to guide people towards safety of pets. Many have no idea how big difference it makes if we all do the right thing and raise our pets responsibly. Kudos on Miracle and Lakota!
